Many people believe that the government of a country should pay for health care and education of its citizens. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give your own opinion.
Government of any country is accountable for allowance of vital requirements like medical and educational services, to its citizens. However a number of individual’s experience that the entire cost for the usage of these amenities must also be borne by the government. This essay shall talk about the likelihood of this estimation.
Health care and teaching are a part of any country’s communal welfare system. In many countries, the government does run health centres which treat the patients free of cost, but these are merely limited to poor people. The same mechanism also works in education where chief teaching centres are complimentary for the poor, after that level the citizens need to stand the cost of education. People also argue for the government to be accountable to reimburse for both these things alongside the tax taken from them for their interests. This model for the deprived is seen in overpopulated and developing countries where the government is incapable to gather the medical and educational demands of every citizen. Thus, it tries to offer monetary help for these primary amenities to the individuals who need it the most. This is where privatization should step in.
If there are private companies who support schooling and health care in the country, it would obtain an enormous burden off the government. Private companies or individuals may still supply improved quality of services due to ultimate competition among each other. Also, if the government pays for everything, the reliance of people on this help would increase. It is much better if government pays for these facilities for the deprived and to a primary level. The individuals who can afford the same should do their part in the social system and not expect unworthy aid from the government.
To conclude, I don’t agree that the government should pay for all the health and education reimbursement for the people. In addition, capable persons and private organizations can help the government offer these essential requirements for free to the people who are deprived of it.
